Now, I will bet that every girl in their right mind, was once fascinated with the idea of fairies at a young age. In my case, I still am.  I remember getting a darling little fairy book from my Mama when I was quite young, I can't quite remember what exact age, but really, who other than me cares? MY POINT IS, Marchesa's Spring '11 collection really reminds me of the dresses the fairies in my book wore. I feel like I'm reliving my sparkling and shimmering world of magic and fantasy gazing at some of these gorgeous creation. Apart from my Basso & Brooke tea-party, if i had the luxury, I'm pretty sure I would spend my days lounging around in Marchesa gowns just because I could. I suppose I can  only fantasize...

I'm a girl who doesn't like wearing pants, doesn't like wearing jeans, pretty much nothing that constricts my leg movement, so I'm obviously going to be pretty bias when it comes to dresses, especially adorable and lust-worthy mini dresses. The thing that gets me the most about Basso & Brooke's collection of spring wear is the light pastel colours combined with a structured bodice of the summer dresses. If I belonged in the class of the rich and famous, I'd be snagging myself up  the sweethearts and wearing them in attendance to my very own tea-party.

Their last collection was amazing, would it be too cliche to say it was edgy? Well, alright, it was dark but through that expemplified woman in a powerful sense. I think no one can ever do wrong with black, but I've been really missing the colour. Romance is back, bring in the pastels! (though the pastel hair trend is over and done with)

Started off rather hesitant about this collection (unique).. To be honest the first few looks came accross as a little bit cheap and reminded me of the late 90's early 2000's,  I don't know maybe it was the print. The collected was actually slightly random, I'm kind of lost as to what the inspiration was, nonetheless some of the looks were quite romantic.

Stuck on Repeat

Hellow lovelies! 

I'm pretty bummed that its Sunday night, they are always quite depressing... 
as you know you have school or work the next day. 
O WELL, I have 7 more weeks then the term is finished! 
Anywhooo, I've half completed this necklace I'm working on and thought y'all could have a little looksee. 
It's pretty boring at the moment, but hopefully will become something better. 
The beads cost a shit load! BTW, the pearls are from my gorgeous Nanna.

My darling Lolie is having an operation tomorrow, I feel like a worried mama right now!

She's the sweetest little girl, I just love her so. I feel nervous with my baby in the hands of another.

A Burnt Cookie

So i get this great  idea to stick a piece of Nestle chocolate on a plain cookie. 

Thought I give myself 6/10 for creativity, I must say it was a flat ZERO out of 10 in terms of commen sense. 

But heyyyy, the top bit of the melted chocolated still tasted orgasmic.

Something to Brighten up my Day

So it was a shit week. Exams, studio work due...general irration of school. You get the jist... oh dear lord I said jist.. But seriously, I'm begging for the holidays where i can just beeeeeee. Whatever that means. However, I did decides to treat myself. You may think I must be a spoiled brat, other wise how would i have been able to order these two gorgeous pairs of Jeffery Campbell babies, well, I GOT A JOB. Finally. So heyyyyyyyyyyyy, thats one positive from my humdrum week. I'm sorry excuse my mellow dramatic state. 

Moral of this short anecdotal story?

Don't wallow in self pity like Emma Chiu. Lifes too short!
